Pitching Rules For 2018 Spring Minor Division Playoffs

A player may pitch in the playoff to the following limits:

1. A player may pitch a maximum of 6 (six) innings for every 2 playoff games.

   1. Pitcher innings reset after every 2 playoff games and are by team not by week.

   2. One pitch constitutes an inning pitched.

Time and Inning Limits for Playoff Games:

1. All First Round and Quarterfinal Games (Games 1, 2, 3, 4  and 6) are no new inning after 1 hour 45 minutes.
2. All Semifinal Games (Games 5 and 7) and Final Games (8 & 9 (if necessary)) are 6 (six) innings or if applicable the USA Softball Run Ahead Rule of 15 after three innings, 12 after four and 8 after five innings.  Note: 15 after three is not possible due to the four run limit per inning in this division so that is not applicable.  No time limit for these games.
3. ASA International Tie Breaker in effect if a tie after time or innings limit is reached to determine a winner.  Games not held on fields with lights may be moved to a lighted field on the same day as soon as it becomes available to determine a winner in the event of darkness.
