Beginner's Pitching Clinic Registration is NOW OPEN! 

(Girls 7 yrs old & up)

 

 

This 5-week beginner level pitching clinic, will be run by Emerson College Assistant Coach, Peter Fernandes, and is designed to instruct and develop skills for beginner level pitchers. Girls ages 7 years old & up, who are just learning how to pitch, are eligible to participate (girls with 1 year or less of pitching experience).  

 

Pitching clinics will be held on Wednesday nights from 5:30pm-7:00pm between June 19th - July 24th (excluding 7/3), at the TGSL Complex located at 500 Norton Ave in Taunton. 

 

Registration is FREE for TGSL members currently registered in the Spring 2024 recreational or travel programs.  Fee for non-TGSL members is $25 (to cover cost of player insurance). All interested players MUST REGISTER to attend. Eligibility will be provided strictly on a first registered (and/or paid) basis.

Beginner's Pitching Clinic Instructor

 

 

 

Peter Fernandes Peter brings over 10 years of coaching experience including player and coaching experience at the recreational, travel and college level. He has been the Asst. Coach at Emerson College for the past 6 years and is the current manager of the the Typhoons Showcase Team. Peter specializes in helping players develop their hitting and infield skills, and throughout his softball coaching career, he has led his teams to 24 championship finals, taken home 8 championship titles, and secured the 1st place title in the USA Softball of MA state series in 2019.
