Opeing day is once again upon us and we have a lot of fun events planned for the whole family.  We encourage everyone to come down and watch the Opening Day Games and stay for the introductions and other festivies planned all day.

Below is a list of fun events that we have planned. Here is a list of the planned concession duties by team also.

Opening Day Activities

• Team Basket/Raffle Prizes – We’re asking every team to donate a raffle basket to our raffle table. The league is securing large raffle items like Boston Red Sox tickets and hopefully once again a Kindle for our raffle table. We’ll once again have gift certificates for the concession stand and 1 year free Rec/Fall registration.
• Team Pictures – Team pictures for the Instructional, Minor & Junior Divisions will be taken on April 9th Opening Day. The photographer will be set up at the field unless we get rained out. If we get rain team pictures will be in the Friedman Gym. For a list of times please check out the team schedule on the TGSL website. Click Here for a Complete Picture Schedule 
  NOTE:  Senior Division team pictures will be taken on April 16th.
• Team Banners – Once again we’ll have banner materials for each team to design their team banner. We’re asking all the teams to create a banner before the Opening Day ceremonies begin. The teams can proudly display their banner when introduced at the ceremony.
• Jump House & Face Painting – We’re hoping to have 2 jump houses for the kids and several people to do face painting near the concession stand.
• Water/Gatorade Donations – We’re asking everyone to donate a case of water/Gatorade to our concession stand. This is a big boost to our concession stand and the more we can stockpile the better it is for our league throughout the year. There will be a table set up out front of the concession stand to leave these donations.
• Free Hot Dogs – We’ll provide a free hot dog and water to every player once again this year. You will receive tickets for every player on your team. Please pass them out on Opening Day and have your players redeem the ticket on the SIDE of the concession stand (not the front window). We’ll begin serving hot dogs about 11:45am.
• Brockton Rox Night/Mascot Appearance – KO the Brockton Rox mascot will be on hand. TGSL and the Brockton Rox will be teaming up again. We’ll be selling tickets to a TGSL Night at the Brockton Rox this summer. We’re still getting the details but we should have everything finalized by April 9^th. We’re hoping to begin ticket sales on opening day.
• Decal Drive – TGSL will once again be offering car decals for proud parents and fans to display on their car. There will be several options to choose from and we’ll have a table set up to take order.
