We anticipate having competitive Taunton Tornadoes Travel Teams in 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U levels next year and are very proud to offer the following to our travel players:
NOTE: 12U and 14U Teams are full for 2018 - Wating List Only
- Total out of pocket cost per player is $175
- New players get two sets of Boombah sublimated uniforms, a helmet and batpack
- FREE, well maintained and clean indoor facility located in downtown Taunton for our travel players includes:
- 2 full 43 foot hitting cages available to all of our travel players
- Pitching lanes
- T Stations
- Open year round (heat and A/C)
- Big Open gym for indoor skills as well as strength and conditioning
- Opportunities for private pitching / catching lessons by college coaches / players
- We have five softball fields at one Taunton complex that are ours to use year round (weather permitting).
- We are teaming up with college coaches from the area to provide expert training at no additional cost in pitching, catching, hitting and overall softball skills throughout the winter in our indoor facility.
- Access to College Coaches at our annual Fall College Showcase hosted her in Taunton for all of our Travel players
- Taunton Girls Softball League along with USA Softball of Massachusetts host an 18U College Showcase here in Taunton the weekend of September 22-24. Our first college showcase in Fall of 2016 was a huge success with nearly 40 teams and dozens of college coaches from around the country in attendance. This year we are partnering with our neighbors, the Taunton West Little League, and in addition to our 5 fields will use 4 of their fields for a total of 9 softball fields in one mega complex with all fields within walking distance and 2 concession stands in action all weekend with some amazing softball. - Strong partnership with USA Softball of Massachusetts to help develop, strengthen and build our town recreational softball programs in Massachusetts to keep softball available to all girls who want to play for the love the game!
