2020 Spring Recreational Season
Player Evaluations
Player evaluations for the 2020 Spring Recreational Softball Program will be held on Sunday, March 8th at the Chamberlain Elementary School gym. Tryouts for the 14U & 16U Travel teams will also be held that day. Please see the schedule below for all divisions assigned times.
Evaluations for the Spring Recreational Season are for team placement purposes of players entering a new division or players new to TGSL in the Minor, Junior and Senior Divisions (players who meet this criteria must attend evaluations, regardless of what division they played in during the 2019 Fall Program or if they are part of the 2020 Travel Program).
Example #1: If your daughter played in the Farm Division in the 2019 Spring Season and they are moving up to the Minor Division in the 2020 Spring Season, they must attend player evaluations. This same example would apply to the Junior & Senior divisions, as well.
Example #2: If you are a new player to the Taunton Girls Softball League, and are registered for the Minor, Junior or Senior Division, you must attend player evaluations.
Players returning to the same division they played in during the Spring 2019 Season do not need to attend player evaluations. There are no tryouts for the Instructional Divisions (born 2013-2016) or the Farm Division (born 2011-2012).

These tryouts are for age eligible players interested in playing on a 14U or 16U Travel Softball Team. Tornadoes are competition travel teams and those trying out are not guaranteed a spot on the team.
