Through the efforts and financial support that the Taunton Girls Softball League (TGSL) has received from successful and valued local businesses and organizations such as yours, we have completed another special season and are about to begin our 2025 Spring Softball fundraising campaign.

We are a completely volunteer, non-profit league and take great pride in offering a quality fastpitch softball program for girls in the greater Taunton community. Our fastpitch softball program is made up of the following:

  • Spring Recreational League in five age divisions with girls ranging from 3 to 18 years old.
  • Summer Travel Teams in 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U divisions playing all through Massachusetts and New England representing Taunton
  • Fall Ball Recreational League in 10U, 12U, 14U & 16/18U Divisions. 
  • Typhoons College Showcase Team
  • 8 Week Winter Pitching Clinics
  • 8 Week Winter Skills Clinics
  • Coaches Clinics
  • Travel Team Tournaments with Travel Teams visiting Taunton from throughout the Northeastern United States
  • Softball Complex with 5 softball fields (3 lighted) and Concession Stand
  • Indoor Hitting and Practice Facility with 2 batting cage tunnels

There are five divisions within our Recreational Spring Softball Program- Instructional A, Instructional B, Minors, Juniors & Seniors. You may sponsor a team in any or all divisions. Every player participating in the Spring Recreational Program will wear a shirt with a company name on it and will be seen locally by all who attend. Each sponsoring company will also receive a banner ad on our website and a link from our sponsor page.


Our goal is to build on our success and continue to have a strong local program that provides lessons both on and off the field. We believe athletics will help to build a strong foundation for future achievements. Support from businesses such as yours is the key to our success and is needed now more than ever. Your participation and involvement would be appreciated by many Taunton girls and help produce cherished memories for both them and their families. Please use this opportunity to stay involved with our community and help us provide opportunities for these young ladies.
